Accolade of Excellence

I entered the WPPI 16x20 print competition for the first time this year and am happy to say my print received an Accolade of Excellence! I was so honored to be recognized alongside so many talented photographers.

WPPI!!

I love going to WPPI every year! WPPI is Wedding and Portrait Photographers International and I've been a member for about four years. They hold a convention every year in Vegas including a tradeshow as well as speakers on various topics. I learn so many new and exciting things. I always come home really inspired by seeing the amazing photographers out there and learning ways to better my business. I also met a lot of great new people this year and was able to spend some time with a few fabulous old friends as well. And as you can see, we had a lot of fun!! I can't wait for next year!

Legion of Honor - Deborah and Jonathan

It's been a hectic few weeks! I was in Vegas for WPPI and then stayed there to do some architectural photography for a wonderful architect in the area (a.k.a my dad!). I normally stay after the convention every year to photograph for him and of course to visit with my wonderful family. I met some great new people and saw some fabulous old friends at the convention. All in all, a very busy week and a half! Needless to say I'm still catching up with work and haven't yet posted anything from the trip. I'm working on it and will have some fun photos up in a few days. In the meantime I just photographed Deborah and Jonathan's gorgeous wedding yesterday at the Legion of Honor. What a classy and elegant event! Deborah looked stunning! I was so honored to be a part of their celebration. Check back in a few weeks for the full slideshow and more images from their day!

Carrie and Tony March 15th, 2008

Here are some quick images from Carrie and Tony's wedding today at Thomas Fogarty Winery. It was by far one of the most beautiful places I've worked! And Carrie and Tony were such a joy to work with. I'll have more images soon. I'm off to Vegas in the morning for WPPI. It should be a great convention. I'm really looking forward to it!
