The most amazing gingerbread village ever!

My friend Gabby, the owner of the fabulous Cake Coquette, was commissioned to make a gingerbread village for the holidays. The result was spectacular!! Every detail was just perfect down to the sprinkling of snow for the final effect. This is just one of the many gorgeous designs by Gabby. Check out her work if you're looking for something truly unique for your event.

Neha & Mark Maternity

My wonderful wedding clients Neha and Mark are expecting their first child! How exciting! I photographed their wedding about three and a half years ago and couldn't be happier for them in this new experience. We lucked out with a beautiful day last weekend and were able to get the shots without being poured on. With the due date being Jan 3rd they'll have their hands full pretty soon!

Jeane & Carlos

I was super excited to photograph Jeane and Carlos' wedding not only because they are two of the sweetest people I've worked with but also because Carlos is the Carlos Quentin who plays left field for the Chicago White Sox. I'm a huge baseball fan as I grew up playing competitive softball myself and there was always talk of baseball, softball, etc around my house. What a treat to work with Carlos as well as Jeane, who's smile was contagious. She has one of the most engaging personalities and makes everyone feel warm and comfortable when around her. The day couldn't have been more perfect!

Erin & Martin - Part 2

Here are some images from Erin and Martin's super fun reception! Martin is Basque and Erin is Irish with the combination resulting in a lot of singing and dancing throughout the evening! Part of Basque tradition is to have sing alongs during dinner with standing, toasting, swinging napkins, etc with everyone involved. Later in the evening Erin's niece and nephew did some traditional Irish dances. All in all it was one exciting evening!
