When my sister first mentioned wanting to do a Trash the Dress session I had no idea that she really meant TRASH the dress!! Her and her new husband, Ian came up with this idea to make her dress a bit like a Jackson Pollack painting. We were going to be spending part of the holidays at my parent's cabin in Brianhead, Utah. We got talking about this paint idea and realized the snowy environment would be perfect. Brianhead is usually blessed with that perfect mixture of snow and blue skies which we knew would make for a wonderful backdrop and wouldn't leave us with hypothermia! Leave it to my sister Joy, the freest spirit I know, to want to do something like this! I couldn't be happier that she's found the perfect person to share this wild and crazy life with!
A few before the trashing started. . . .
And now a little paint. . . . .

Great pictures !! You look SO happy and like you had so much fun and the snow is a great setting. There's no snow in my place but I'd love to play with paint like that after my wedding,if I can just talk my FH into it :) Brave of you to go for paint...that did of course total your dress.
Your photographer did a great job too. It must be really hard to keep it from looking just all white with a bride against snow.
I just googled " trash dress with paint " to get ideas and found these ! Cute !
looks like fun!
I enjoyed reading your posst
